Welcoming our New Teammates: Paula Wodecka, Chaymae Affani, & Urara Tanaka!

We’re very excited to welcome three new interns to The Plant – Paula WodeckaChaymae Affani, and Urara Tanaka! 🌱 Together, they’ll help us improve the cohesion of our social media platforms, improve our communication strategies, and make us more visible to all the fantastic staff & students at FASoS!

Paula Wodecka

Paula is a third year Bachelor of Digital Society student at FASoS. Her research interest centers on how digitalisation influences society as a whole. Her favorite course so far involved researching web design and designing a personal blog. Paula is also interested in new technologies, such as 3D printing and scanning, which she would love to learn.

Paula will be working on improving The Plant’s website during her internship. Together with members of The Plant, she’ll design an improved user experience and a more intuitive information flow. We’re excited to hear all her new ideas! 🧠

Urara Tanaka

Urara is in her third year of the Bachelor of Global Studies at Maastricht University. She is interested in communication differences between societies, languages, and diverse platforms. This leads to her passion for learning languages, which allows her to explore the differences through communication and culture.

At The Plant, Urara is working as a social media & communications intern. She will be focusing on researching and developing plans for our social media, improving our brand visibility, and creating interesting and engaging content. We’re excited to have her join our team! 🌟

Chaymae Affani

Chaymae is a Digital Society student and is very interested in automation and robotics. Her interest was especially captured in the BA DS course “Artificial Society“ where the history and current progress of AI are discussed while also asking ethical questions.

As the Educational Network Software Intern she will be experimenting with the Arduino hardware and software as well as Raspberry Pi to explore different use cases for the classroom.
