There are many reasons for why we believe it is meaningful to learn Python. But the three most important reasons are probably:
Web scraping is the process of automatically extracting data from websites. With a simple computer program of a few Python lines, we can browse websites and collect all desired information (including text, images, links, etc.) in a systematic way. This is not only useful if for your research projects during your studies (think of your BA or MA thesis for example), it is also the industry standard for market research, (social media) marketing, business intelligence, etc.
Please register by clicking on or scanning the QR-code or click here.
An invoice will be sent to all registered participants as soon as possible and at the latest before 5 June 2023
This pre-summer school will be delivered by Dr. Thomas Frissen.
Note:
We strive to provide high-quality courses for our students. For this reason, we have a maximum and minimum enrollment requirement for this course. Please keep in mind that we may have to cancel the course, if the minimum number of registrations is not met. If this happens, we will contact all registered participants.
