During the introduction days, the BA Digital Society students participated in the Robot Race organized by Anna Villarica, supported by a grant from The Plant.

This event is hosted on a yearly basis for students to get hands on experience with technology. The robots are powered by Arduino boards from Nince. The Plant ensured that the robots were preprogrammed to make sure that the teams had fully functional robots available for the event.

The students were tasked with creating the robots for the race in a span of 4 hours which gave them enough time to make and test the robot before the start of the Robot Race. The event was a major success as all teams were able to compete in the race and show off their amazing robots.

A big thank you to all the students who came along and participated in the Robot Race as well as a huge thank you to Anna Villarica for taking on the responsibility of organizing and hosting the Robot Race.
