The first class that used the Plant is of the MA Digital Cultures for the course Creating Digital Collections, coordinated by Costas Papadopoulos and Susan Schreibman. During three weekly tutorials and several self-guided practice sessions, the 45 students of the programme learnt the basics of photogrammetry and structure from motion, in preparation of the digitisation of 25 cultural heritage objects from Centre Céramique. In the first part of this course, the objects are digitised in 3D, while in the second part of the course, students use these as a basis to create a digital collection which contextualises the objects through multimodal narratives and interactive content.
